I have to go to Tuscaloosa Saturday for work which happens to be my anniversary. We decided the Mrs. would come and we’d just find a nice place to eat and stay the night.

She’s going to order a filet 99% of the time so I’m really asking for myself. Where does the F&D board recommend?

Chucks Fish. Fresh seafood brought in daily from the gulf and filet on the menu for the misses. Was always a go to for me.

Hokkaido used to have incredible sushi and then the tornado hit in 2011. The last time I was there it wasn't as good. Perhaps they returned to their former greatness?

I am not an expert on the gourmet dining scene in Tuscaloosa (if there is such a thing) except to say that the best place there that I have been to is Dreamland Ribs.

Same guy that owns that owns harbor docks in Destin.

Chuck’s fish would also be my Tuscaloosa recommendation if you have to be in that town.

Cant go wrong with Chucks. Other options I'd recommend are Nicks in the Sticks and Five.

I love Milo's. Wish they hadn't closed the Mobile and Foley locations.

We would always stop at the one in Moody after the races in Talladega. Always enjoyed it.

Chucks is a good spot.

I’d also recommend Southern Ale House, and Evangeline’s.

If you end up wanting something more casual, Heat Pizza and Avenue Pub are both good.

If you think Dreamland Ribs is good then you’re right, you’re no expert of any type of dining. Dreamland ribs are straight a$$ and there is far better BBQ places in Alabama.

I guess ppl like eating arse because the place stays packed. Maybe you don’t like the sauce, but every time I’ve eaten there the ribs were cooked perfectly. Let me guess. You like the extremely overcooked fall off the bone bs?
