Does anyone really like their job?

I've worked in various professional white-collar gigs for 25+ years. Over that time, I've never really looked forward to going to work. Does anyone really like their job? Some places are better than others, but mostly I get tired of a place after 4-5 years and find another job. I'm considering retirement in 6-8 years, so I have to hang in there for a bit. I wish I could find something that wasn't so boring that pays what I make now.
For context, I've made it up to a director level in my current position, so I've had some success. I guess I'm just burned out. Surely, I'm not the only one.

love it, never considered it a job as much as it is what I do, never, ever, dreaded going to "work"

I like it, but I’d quit tomorrow to go fishing and play golf if I could

Do I love my job? Nope.
But, I do find it rewarding and I do like it.

My path sounds similar to yours. Thought I would work until 55, but unfortunately started working for someone who couldn't remember what you discussed a few days prior. Too much crazy for me, so I retired early. There were some fleeting moments where I enjoyed my work (usually when I was learning new things), but at the end of the day -- nope.

Yep. I definitely do. Work with great people and on projects I get to be proud of.
I have worked several trades and blue collar jobs. While I'm not doing that anymore, was still good skills to learn, along with how to communicate with anyone.

I used too
Then we started restructuring everything and driving up prices to the customers and when they wouldn't go up 20-30% we said frick it, we dont need their business.
But we really do

Love my job, most of my co-workers. The bosses...they pretty much leave me alone, so I like them too.

Depends on the project and the client.
All things equal, I like my job because I like my company and peers I work with. The work itself is hit or miss, and the enjoyment from work is tied to the client in most cases. I get to be a part of some really cool projects and see some badass stuff.

I have despised most of my jobs and quit. I could be off here due to no experience in it but I think a job like a mechanic would be fun. You get a problem, you solve it with your hands, and you move on to the next. My brain likes that.

I really do like my current role with my current employer. I cannot say the same about all the employers I have worked for.

Parts of my job are incredibly rewarding and I love them dearly...the other parts that come along with it are frustrating and stressful and make me want to quit every day...

I do.
I would prefer not to work, but if I have to the one I have is ain't bad

I like my job and have liked every job I ever had for more than a few days. If I did not like by the end of the first week there was little chance it was going to get better in the second and subsequent weeks so I would just drag up. Have only had to do that a couple of times in 46 years. Life is too short to hate what you do 40 hours a week.
A lot of it has to do with perspective...if you are miserable in life you are probably miserable at work. If you see plotting against you every where you look, think you are the only person with an answer and no one will listen, and want more than anything in life to be a victim you will probably eventually become one of your own shortcomings if nothing else. If, on the other hand, you accept responsibility for your lot in life and understand you made choices to get in the position you are in no matter how good or bad that position is you will have the comfort of knowing you decided to be where you are. That is VERY liberating but unfortunately very few people will accept responsibility for their lives....
