German Election Results Are In! CDU Wins, Will Form Coalition With SDP, AfD Good Returns
Posted on 2/24/25 at 6:10 am

Here are the results:
Christian Democrats 28.5%
(Uniparty Center Right)
Alternative For Germany 20.8%
(Populist, Germany First, Sustained Immigration)
Social Democrats 16.4%
(Uniparty Left)
Greens 11.6%
(Environmentalist Kooks)
Die Linke 8.7%
(Violent Radical Marxists)
Those parties won enough of the vote to fill seats in the Bundestag (German legislative body). The leader of the Christian Democrats is Friedrich Merz and he will be the next Chancellor. He challenged Angela Merkel for leadership of the party way back in the day, became her bitch, served as her deputy for a while then left government. Worked as a law partner and a board member for BackRock for many years. Returned to politics, became leader of the Christian Democrats. He is a sometimes practicing Catholic. Current Social Democrat Party Leader and Chancellor Olaf Scholz is out. The Free Democrats, the pro business party and a partner in the current government coalition until they pulled out due to irreconcilable differences and thus helped trigger the election, were completely wiped out. They lost all their seats in the Bundestag.
Incoming Chancellor Merz says he will never work with the Alternative For Germany party, will quickly move to form a coalition government with the loser parties, the Social Democrats and the Greens. Look for some of the Social Democrats to retain their cabinet posts. Merz has been doing some tough talking regarding Trump and the US, which has really pleased the media this morning. The media has been somewhat gushing in praise for him.
Alternative For Germany, led by Alice Weidel, had a very good performance and they have been celebrating their results. Of particular note, AfD completely dominated the former East Germany, winning all but two districts there (over 99%). Listening to interviews, their leaders and voters say they remember or are aware of what life was like in a Marxist police state and are zeroed in on fighting for civil liberties and against an abuse of power by government and that is why they have performed well with voters. Listening to the BBC, only racists voted for them.
Turnout was among the highest ever on record at 83%.
My information comes from watching the BBC this morning and reading German media Der Spiegel and Die Welt.

Germany is beyond saving.
Former East Germany should push for deunification and become its own country again. Trump would immediately recognize it and likely tell West Germany to kick rocks.

Getting in Trump’s face and finding money to pay Germany’s bills won’t be soft ride, especially given the Tariffs thing and Ukraine. Immigration cannot be a good thing for the Germans. Anyway you cut it Germany is going down given its present course.

I remember some saying that about the US in 2008-2016
But as people wake up and realize they are in the majority unlike the media is telling them and they get to the point where they can’t take any more. The pendulum swings back……

Yea Trump needs to smash them and push for east and west Germany.
I’d also say we reach way back and hit them with a bill for world war 2

Germany has no one to blame but themselves for their continuous poor decision making.
To our credit, at least our citizens were wise enough (barely) to recognize the problems with the left's platform and want to change it.

We should import the AFD voters that are being left out. We can resettle them in the swing states

Republicans want Russia to reestablish the entire USSR?

We should announce we are closing all military bases in Germany and moving all troops elsewhere.
Cutting all funding to Germany and they are on their own. If east Germany wants to split we will support them and provide security against EU aggression

So Germany will continue a welfare state while importing and supporting more barbarians, commit cultural suicide, and snuff out free speech. Sounds like a rosy future for the Fatherland.

Soy you are dishonest so you don’t deserve a response. However, looks like west Germany would be more Soviet and East Germany more American.
It’s also a good solution split the country and let the side that spoke for what they wanted be represented and the left can have its side. We can see who does better.

Your stupidity is astounding.
Actual Republicans (not RINOs) want to save the German people from communism and / or fascism (aka…the left).
Your ilk (the communazis) has destroyed Germany.
A West German nation would collapse in on itself in a year.

Given current day Globalist Europe and Nationalist Russia, that is a debatable point. Having to choose the worst of two evils applies.

Good. I like the idea of offering all AFD American citizenship and moving them here.
They should have a good claim for political asylum.

yes we need new citizens who have experienced first hand the evil represented by 'progressive' leftards. They could possibly be a force in spreading truth about that dysfunctional cult.

Maybe put a wall up to separate the two.

They're already poor, but that would be Russian-esque economic planning.
Why are y'all so obsessed with devolving economies and decreasing SOL? It's the same stuff with the promoted domestic policy on tariffs and so many people promoting Russia as this model to follow (anti-globalist, self sufficient, etc.)
