Republicans are slow walking not giving us the $5,000 that's been suggested by Trump.

Every interview so far with Republican reps is the exact same talking point, robotic in nature.

It's the slow drip messaging strategy, getting it to stick in your brains, then moves slowly into acceptance.

Democrats are evil but don't think for a second that Republicans don't deploy this strategy as well.

WE WANT OUR MONEY. These thieving crooks want to use your money to continue fleecing us, with their empty promises of paying down the debt.

That will never happen, so give me my damn money back.

Yeah because it’s a dumb idea. They should reduce the deficit like they said they would

Unless you really want a bump in inflation.

Sending money to people is dumb. Just pay down the debt.

not giving us the $5,000

Because its a 5k loan that we take out on ourselves.

I don't want a 5k loan at this moment.

Their track record is stellar at doing this, no trust issues at all here.

The $5k is a dumb idea. First we have not seen that kind of savings. Second if the goal is to stop spending money we do not have, then you should stop spending.

And not one of you can show me where they've ever done this. It's amazing that people keep falling for their propaganda, while adding more pork so they can get their money, fleecing us of ours.

When doge pulls a trillion out of the federal expense, plan on the economy grinding to a halt, recession.........While all the wrong people got that trillion, the wrong people still put that money in the economy .

the economists will be shouting tax rebates to put that money back

It’s only a dumb idea if the taxpayers are the ones who blew it. It’s only a bad idea if revenue is the problem not spending. The reality is tax payers should be given about a 100k check and government spending should be slashed by 50%. The government should feel the pain for the next 50 years not the tax payers who have endured the brunt of poor fiscal policies leading to lower wages and higher prices when adjusted for inflation. The government hasn’t felt the impact of its destructive policies and deserves to sleep in the bed it created

I think it’s a mistake right now to do, I would rather see it go to balance the national debt myself. I would rather see the Trump administration seize and defund all these democratic/globalist slush funds and destroy that satanic party for ever.

The Congress must get rid of the supermajority rule and impeach all these activist judges practicing liberal jurisprudence it’s the only way.

This is where I want my $5,000 to go toward but hey, if he sends a check I want it tax free or keep it.

if they cut spending enough and maintains taxes they could give people 5000 back without causing inflation.

but I dont see that happening.

They're already talking about a $340B budget increase. These crooks can't be trusted. Until we drag some of them out of their chambers and put literal heads on pikes, they will never stop stealing your money.

Stop sidestepping the issue. When have they, both sides, ever used this to pay down the debt in the last, let's say, 20 years?
