I know she’s on our side but talk about effectively falling up, she wasn’t even qualified for her wildlife position, hope she is up for it

Yea there is definitely something fishy about her career trajectory. She was in no way qualified for the job she held in Louisiana.

The previous secretary was the best at the position.

No it's not. Here's the connection:

quote:

Sheahan, who is in her late 20s, came to Louisiana from South Dakota with a background in politics.

There, she worked for then-Gov. Kristi Noem, who is now President Donald Trump's secretary of Homeland Security. ICE operates under the Department of Homeland Security.

according to the Reuters report, which says Sheahan would be the top official until Trump's administration names a new ICE director.

It is considering she was completely unqualified at LDWF and has no qualifications for anything honestly. Other that she knows the right person. This is a DEI hire.

Maybe we can get another good ole boy back in there ready to watch while his agents make sure us plebs know who is in charge. You know, the qualified ones.

Anyone could see that this was a person that connected people in the party wanted to cultivate, so they just stowed her in a position until they could move her elsewhere.

That position was head of the LDWF. It never mattered that she wasn’t qualified. She took the position expecting to be moved from it.

Now that time is over and we will get someone else. Maybe the position will be more than a political internship this time around… or… maybe not.

Aka a swamp creature.

I hate the idea of draining the swamp only to replace with slightly more palatable swamp creatures.

This is not a DEI hire. A DEI hire would be hiring a woman just for the sake of having a woman. This is a good ole "boy" network hire. Landry and Noem are friends. He was at her swearing in ceremony. Noem got Landry to appoint Sheahan. Now Noem is in a position to improve Sheahan's position.

Probably just means they need a figure head who will let Holman essentially call the big shots.
