Super glue for cut finger?

Cut the tip of my pinkie while slicing up a NY Strip loin and it keeps popping open and dripping.
Which is problematic.
The only super glue I have here is the thicker Gorilla glue versus the water like CA. Will it work as well or should I go get the other stuff?
*The new butcher knives are sharp. Real sharp...

Just turn on a burner on the stove and cauterize it. Be a man.

Make sure the wound is super clean before you do that. Infection in an extremity is not good.

Just put a thin coat on and call it a day

Yeah. Sniff it. It'll help with the pain

I’ve glued pesky bleeding cuts and yes, it works fine. Clean it well.

That's why it was invented.

Rub some vagisil on it

The thin works better but thick will work it just takes longer to activate, not sure I would want to spray instant activator on it either.
Having some Dermabond or Vetbond in the first aid kit is something everyone should consider.

I use liquid skin first. Then super glue

I super glue cuts and scrapes all the time. Shouldn’t be a problem

I thought the activator was essentially just water. That's what I recall from years ago anyway.

Just smear around the thick stuff on the wound to seal it AFTER cleaning.
Stings like a mofo though.
Great remedy for stuff that is too big for a band aid but not big enough to warrant a trip for a bunch of stiches.
And yes, cyanacrolate (super glue) was developed for just this purpose.

Fold a paper toel over, making a strip about 1/2" wide and a little longer than the cut. Put a little neo/polysporin on it. put it on the cut, then wrap it with electrical tape.
Unwrap the tape in 2 days.

Amputation and fire. It’s your only option.

Sure, if you don't mind the blood poisoning risk it carries if you use the wrong kind

I’ve done it once and had no problems.
