Low in mid 20’s? Not good for players or fans. It’s not about being tough. It’s about avoiding injuries. Wouldn’t be surprised if an announcement comes before noon…

The temp is getting nowhere near the 20s for the game. It starts in low 40s and will be high 30s by the time the game completes with almost no chance of rain. Time to suck it up and play in slightly cold weather.

Have you never played early season baseball before? Those temps are nothing out of the norm for even jr. high and high school baseball games.

I remember back when I was coaching, we had a game at Denham Springs in about the same weather. The only heat there was a fire we had started in a metal trash can in the dugout and what Big Ben McDonald was throwing from the mound.
