At first I thought he was gesturing at Kennesaw's dugout, but you see coaches and players with jackets come from the direction he was facing. So, while it's still probably unnecessary, it's not like he was taunting the other team.

Anytime we play at KSU, Georgia Southern, Mercer, or Ga State it gets like this. Most all of these guys know each other after playing East Cobb and the travel circuit prior to college. Always starts with the home team overreacting to a strikeout, big hit, etc and our guys match energy and it gets chippy.

Tech oddly seems to be the only in state school where both teams keep it relatively civil on the field despite us having multiple postseason run ins and some controversies (like last year when the ACC ump crew called a game we were winning a half inning before becoming official due to rain).

Wes got ejected for going at the home plate ump who was legitimately awful (even the KSU broadcasters were noting how his set up over the catchers left shoulder was leading him to miss obvious strikes to right handed batters).

Pitcher got ejected for talking shite after retiring the side on a strike out because one of their base runners was talking shite to our dugout.
