The modern democrat party would never win another federal election with common sense voting laws/rights.

When you have stricter rules to fly on a plane than you do to elect the leader of the free world, you might be a Banana Republic.

Trump will get this done plus term limits for Congress. Epstein list and other things will be used to get this pushed through hopefully.

Early voting isn't the problem. It's late voting.

I absolutely agree with paper ballots and ID (it's what we use here in Denton County TX) and I'd be OK with Election Day being a holiday (for those concerned about we leeches having too many days off, we can throw the libs a bone and dump Columbus Day).

Hell yeah. Democrats have the day off anyway for the most part. This levels the playing field.

The crooked Left will be screaming about the destruction of democracy in expecting IDs from those millions of disenfranchised folks (even though you need an ID to do virtually anything else in day to day life).

I don’t see any logical grounds on which anyone would oppose this.

Friday (national holiday) and Saturday voting. Paper ballots, IDs required. Results on Sunday. I’m not sure why that would be controversial.

Paper ballots seems like a really dumb way to for for same day results.

I am in favor of IDs so long as a voting ID is free and easily available.

Driver’s licenses don’t need to be free.

Why do ID’s need to be free?

Has to be reform, has to be on the same priority as illegal immigration.

GOP should have 60 seats right now. Minimum 3 was just stolen, probably 4. Then the two election cycles before, between Az, Michigan and Georgia, at least 3 more. McConnell worked against that each time. They should probably separate state elections from federal elections, then one size fits all.

How about we merge Veterans Day and Election Day into one holiday on the second Friday of November.

Or we move Election Day to the Friday after April 15, with swearing in ceremonies on July 4th.
