Pretty much equal to Forbidden. I've had Il Supremo and it's really good. Haven't tried Forbidden. Yet

I always trust fat people about pizza.

Despite being well known for seafood, gumbo, etc. and not for pizza, New Orleans really does have some solid solid pizza joints.

Poor fatboys didn’t fair so well
Scored lower than the boot and the boot has a cold cheese pizza
I’ve had Zees and Forbidden pizza, my experience with them is that Zees was better but it also looked like the pizza Dave had from forbidden was in better shape than mine. Mine had to sit in the box a bit to make it home

It’s like his face was the master mold in some sort of most punchable faces factory

I like Zee’s more than IL Supremo but they’re both good. I think Zee’s is the best in the area personally.

Fat Boys is trash. They always under cook the pizza. They knew he was coming so they did well done and still got the score they did.

What score did our dear friend TulaneLSU give them?
That is what matters.

He still maintains the pizza they served during commercial breaks while filming Johnny’s Follies was the best he’s ever had.

Doesn’t NOLA have a shitload of Italians?

Their pizza is not good at all.
He did give a solid review of Tower of Pizza which was one of my dad’s favorite places to get pizza. RIP. Now, he would always make the trip to the Northshore to get Pizza Man.

Yes, yes it does. Or at least it used to.
Along with a bunch or Irish, French, African, Creole/Caribbean, et Al. Lots of diversity in a small geographic area is what makes us special.

I was on St Charles today and was looking for a quick bite. Zees was close and I gave it a shot. Holy shite that’s a pretty damn good slice. Got one of each cheese, pepperoni and the special cheese was delicious. The special was a jerk chicken pizza. It was lights out.

Friend,
I am far more bullish on Il Supremo than I am on the ballyhooed pizzerias using carbon copy NY recipes. Put it this way, there are only three pizzerias in the entire country outside NY-NJ-CT that I have ever scored in the 9s. Il Supremo, along with Ken’s Artisan Pizza and Deluca, are the other two.
You may be interested in reading TulaneLSU’s history of and top 10 pizzas in New Orleans where you can see how Il Supremo scores and compares.
Put it this way: scoring Luigi’s in Park Slope in the 9s and Il Supremo in the 8s is criminal. Gio is the nicest guy you’ll meet, but Il Supremo’s pizza is much better and gives any pizza in America, apart from Una Pizza Napoletana, a run for their money.
Yours,
TulaneLSU
