Did anyone have a better identifying factor than Vernel Singleton?

The bandaid on the shoulder was iconic. Also Vernel was a stud, and one of the most underrated players in LSU history. Long love the snoopy bandaid.

He really was underrated. Excelled at 3 different positions in 4 years as was a big contributor from day 1. Over 1,500 points and 750 rebounds in his career.

Is this from his basketball bio, or porn bio?

I’ve never seen any of his post LSU videos, but his tryouts probably required excelling in more than 3 positions.

Does he still wear it in his new career?

Are you suggesting his IMDB page needs an update?

I thought Vernel was going to be a better pro than Robert Horry.

The Hornets gave him a look but didn’t keep him so he went play overseas for awhile. Might’ve caught on if he were playing today with more teams and the G-League.

The fact that we remember him at all considering the greatness of the other players on the team is impressive.

Yep. We called him band aid. And that's what he was. He fixed the little things that were missing on that team. Great teammate.

Didn't he play with Shaq and Stanley Roberts and Chris Jackson? There was Gerald Griggs who I think averaged like five steals a game.

I wore a bandaid as a kid because of him. Wasn’t always Snoopy but I had one on every game.

Shawn Griggs, he didn’t play with CJ or Stanley, he was on the team Shaq’s breakout season.
