And it hasn’t even been a month since DOGE started.
We’re still in the tip of the iceberg

He's just talking about the entitlement programs. Please tell me there's some program where they'll be able to root out the fraudsters, please.

frick this government, and most especially, frick THE IRS! I want to see them burn. They basically rape us month in and month out to fund their fricking lavish lifestyles and all their little pet projects around the world. I want it all back.

How did we even allow ourselves to get here? This nation was founded on being against undue / excessive taxation.

Before the revelations of DOGE, these bloodsucking vampires were talking about taxing unrealized gains and 87,000 new IRS agents (with guns!) rifling through any bank deposits we make above $600. Nickel-and-diming us to death while they steal all our money and give what's left away to the rest of the world. Someday people will look back on these things as an example of how much our government resents and despises us.

Taxed for dying, taxed for reselling our used stuff on eBay, Poshmark, at garage sales, etc.

All to fund the waste, fraud and abuse of woke leftists and RINOs. To pay for illegal immigrants to stay at luxury hotels while our military veterans get the shaft. All while we're $36 trillion in debt.

Our government hates us. We've been getting fleeced for far too long. It's past time to put an end to it.

The last numbers I saw (a couple of years old) we brought in 3.9T in taxes but spent 6.1T while 36T in debt.

Knock out a bunch of zeroes and we're like a national family earning 39k but spending 61k while 360k in debt.

Obviously that is not infinitely sustainable.

The same way you boil a frog. Slowly.

And the paid media keeps us stupid and distracted.

I don't want to live in a country with people who are so fricking dumb they parrot "tax the rich" as a means to end the deficit when the rest of us have been saying "it's spending problem" for decades now.

I keep seeing tweets but is anything changing? I keep seeing announcements and pronouncements but somehow it doesn’t seem real.

We got here by printing money instead of raising income taxes. Had they used taxation on labor to fund this disaster, people would have revolted, but they taxed thru inflation, creating more dollars, and an effective interest of zero. The problem has accelerated since this money creation can be done electronically and no longer requires actual printing. The first Covid relief package spent more money than could be physically printed in a year.

They did that to cover their asses for the fact they’ve been stealing our tax dollars and wasting it in unimaginable ways.

Come on guys.

This is a big nothing burger because they shouldn’t be looking at all these numbers. They shouldn’t have permission to look!

This is racism, white supremacy, and apartheid all wrapped into one.

I personally know a person that got benefits when her and her husband combined made way to much money to qualify. This means the people that approve the benefits either don't ask the right questions, don't care and rubber stamp, or they don't verify the info on the application.

Benefit recipients need to be audited. Maybe start with randomly selecting 1 in 20 and see if the audits need to be expanded or deleted based on the results.

Exactly. When March 14th rolls around how much is actually going to be cut from yet another continuing resolution? When is an actual budget with an actual cut in spending, not just a cut in the growth of spending , going to happen?
