Woodward if you want to bring back Will Wade it shouldn't be a problem

LSU men's basketball punishment has been served. Also you can now pay players in which why you were punished in the first place. Will Wade is right down the street and would crawl back to LSU. There is no time to waste.

I think he would come back to show he can compete in a major conference but I also think he'd leave for ANY equal or better job because of the lack of loyalty we showed him. Where as I think he would have been a lifer if we had stuck by his side.

It would be hard for me consider coming back let alone crawl back if I was used as a scapegoat to keep other programs at the university from getting in trouble or the school not having my back in general.

Right so isn’t it just as likely he would want to go somewhere to stick it to LSU?
If we can hire him back then great, do it. I’m just wondering out loud if he would even want to.

I saw a certain someone meeting with a certain someone's agent a month ago at a local plantation house so there is a fire being stoked to gauge a certain someone's interest

I don't know about crawling back but there were arguments for either side during that debacle and if Wade can't understand the situation LSU was in with the football program then maybe he isn't mature enough to handle coaching here. That being said if he can understand the situation then I think both sides could humble themselves and do what's best for each other. I have heard mixed messages about whether he would consider an offer from LSU but will believe it when I see it. Is it probable.No. Is it possible. Yes.

Me too. He definitely wants to be back here. This is his last year at McNeese. If not FSU, or LSU, he will be upgrading to a program where he can make some noise. I am praying LSU comes to their senses and brings him back.

Not sure what he really believes, but publicly Will Wade has stated he understands the move LSU made in 2022 and holds zero ill will. He's going to get a major job likely this offseason. He obviously loves Louisiana. It makes too much sense to discount entirely. Would take some balls from the admins which I'm not sure we have.

No he would not. He wants to head West of where he is now. That’s his goal anyway. All of you can go join him and leave here for good wherever he goes.

Wade will have his pick of P5 schools. He isnt trying to break in to the big club anymore like when he first came to LSU. He can go to a way better situation.
