Tonight, we go into Athens as Underdogs, to the Bulldogs. On the SEC Network, like all of our games.

Might be the second easiest game we have left so let's try to not get boatraced

Kenpom probably has this as UGA -6 neutral court, so they're not getting a whole lot on the line playing at home.
Maybe odds makers are thinking we come back to fight after the skull dragging we got at home against UT.
Texas and UGA are only 10 spots removed on KP - #28 to #38.
But still...

Gonna be a tough road game, but winnable. Hoping the guys go out and fight hard and come home with the W.

9pm tip in Athens? Surely it’ll be a light crowd and the dogs will be sleep walking.

8.5 point underdogs against Georgia? I know it's on the road but ouch.

I don’t know. The last two times LSU has played there they only lost by a bucket. That was in McMahon’s 1st and 2nd seasons. That was below average to bad LSU teams nearly getting a win.
These situations create a strange juxtaposition. On the one hand the best thing for the program is to change coaches after the season. Even just a few more wins could prevent that from happening.
On the other hand you want to see the players have even just a little success and happiness. Losing sucks as is. Losing over, and over, and over is even worse.

If they're not completely dejected from Texas and come out with some fight, I think it's a close game. It's not a bad matchup all things considered.

Actually betting UGA -8.5
This is good sign for the Tigers

I’m sure this will be another McMasterpiece leading to the 21st road conference loss of the McMahon era in 2.5 seasons.
The travel expenses for the LSU athletic department are a sunk cost at this point.

I, personally am going to root and hope we win. Win == LSU.

Exactly.
And the people that get it know it.
How many times have I said a singular win or loss =/= program.

That's about on par with the advanced analytics, which put it at 8-10 points.

Question for those who are pre melting
Why even watch the games? You’re supposed to watch things that entertain you.
This is a massive game. LSU wins this game and their NET ranking goes above 55 and they are firmly on the bubble
