What's the boards thoughts?
I was intrigued by the uniqueness of the story, but then I got to the end and was a little disappointed. Maybe I just missed something that tied it together.
I did like the casting, specifically Ralph Fiennes.

I thought it was a fantastic satire/commentary on the foodie/bougie/artsy culture.
It was hilarious.

I thought it was funny, but the ending sort of unraveled for me. Can't really explain it, just thought it felt flat/rushed after a great build-up.

I appreciate the originality but didn’t love it.
I’d probably give it a 6.5/10 or so, nothing amazing but worth a watch.

I enjoyed it. A cutting critique of not just the world of food snobbery but snobbery in general.

Meh
I just can’t stand ATJ. She looks like a bug and it distracts me from every scene she’s in anything.

I wasn’t expecting it but I loved this movie, each character was played well, it was original which gets harder to find all the time. The ending might could have been a little better but not sure how really, I’ve watched it at least 3 times, There are some great scenes and really funny dialogue. Underrated in my opinion.

On the bright side, when she gets older, she will look like Charlize Theron! So i guess she's got that going for her.

The wife and I watched it and enjoyed it. I really didn’t get the point, but it was far more entertaining than 80% of movies now a days.

i am a red blooded American male who loves the female form, but Anna Taylor Joy is awkward and strange looking. Not saying unattractive, but not my cup of tea.
she does look like a bug. i'm not commenting on her superior acting talent, just that in the hollywood starlet conversation, she's a 4. striking, but a 4.
also, i liked the Menu a lot. dark and a great commentary on snobbery.

To each their own. I love her unique look. Total fox in my eyes. Although, it seems like she got plastic surgery or something in the past year or two. Her cheeks look all sunken in now. Will never understand why women who already look fine do that to themselves.
