Florida Republican Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar - Not Happy With Trump

A Florida Republican has demanded President Donald Trump spare thousands of migrants from deportation amid fears his crackdown could hurt the GOP.
Trump aggressively went full-steam ahead with his pledge to carry out the largest mass deportation effort in US history in his first week back in power, arresting over 2,000 people in a widespread crackdown and put and end to Biden-era immigration programs.
Representative Maria Elvira Salazar issued a desperate letter to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Friday begging them to spare migrants who entered the country under Biden's 'humanitarian parole' program from deportation.

They have to go back.
They can go back on their own, or they can be picked up by ICE and forced out.
But they’re going home.

How's it going to hurt the GOP? It was one of his major platform ideas and a big reason that he got elected.

Unacceptable. Round them up and send them to their home country. Period.

Well, she does say thousands and there will probably be a few thousand who do not get deported. She can then claim POTUS listened to her.

Why? Trump was clear on his intentions. He won in a landslide. If you voted for him, then you voted for this.

Trump does not have to stand for re-election. As long as he has his majorities, he will continue to do the reverse of the decisions Biden made.

Either you enforce the law to crack down on this shite permanently or you don't. There is no in between. This lady is a nimrod.

What the hell did she think was good by to happen? Trump was very clear what his plans were while he was campaigning.

Well the article says that the program started in January 2023 and allows them to stay temporarily for up to two years. Math isn’t my strong suit, but it seems to me that it’s time to go home.

humanitarian parole
We let people in for humanitarian reasons all the time. Unfortunately, Biden allowed anyone to claim this without vetting.
If she wants to do the work to prove they had legitimate humanitarian reasons, fine. Otherwise, they have to go, too.
