We go once a month nowadays.

Not a money thing, the quality of food in restaurants is rarely better than we can do at home.

We only go out as often as once a month as a reason to get out and socialize.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Hardly ever. Every restaurant in this country uses seed oils.

We go out to eat as a family every Friday night. Dinner and ice cream afterwards.

I meal prep every week for all of our lunches and dinner, but we seemingly still always end up picking something up for dinner 1-2x a week.

Just busy with kids.

Almost never.
It's almost always disappointing.

Twice a month as a family. We are at point with kids activities where the kids might get fast food in a pinch but wife/me do not get it for ourselves.

I never understood this line of thinking. If you are cooking as well as a decent restaurant, you are spending a lot of time shopping, cooking, and doing dishes.
I love going out to eat once a week or so for a break.

2-3 times a month. Not fast food and it is usually with a group.

You must be a good cook. Usually when I go out to eat, I think about how much better I could have made this for way cheaper.

If you weren’t lazy af you could learn to cook. It’s really not hard unless you’re stupid

Maybe once a month. Trying to drop a few pounds and enjoy eating out once a week again. No issues with food quality.
