I got 3 bucks this season for the first time. Two 8's and a 9 pernt. Took all on WMAs.

Here's my 9. That little kicker on his right side is just a nub or he'd have been a 10. He weighed 112 field dressed. What's crazy is I went into a new spot I'd never hunted before. After getting up in the tree with my climber I saw another climber at the base of a tree about 50 yards away. Sorry I kilt yer deer guy!

I didn’t shoot a single deer this year and eat most of my tags every year. I just can’t eat that much deer meat so I kill one maybe two.

Nice deer!

My kids like the meat so my daughter takes some back to Atlanta and son takes some to Tuscaloosa. It all gets ate!

Nope… and as hard as I hunted for the 2nd one (last one), the cooler went out while aging it and lost the quarters. I vac sealed the backstraps and tenderloins first.

all on WMAs

That's awesome, congratulations

I did not. One spike. I like having 2 in the freezer and 3 is better. We go through some meat. Pretty disappointed in my season. Didn't hunt much though and glad to have one.

This is the first season my wife hunted consistently and she tagged out in Area 4. One old ratty buck, one young 7pt, and a doe.

We normally need three deer per year. We eat a lot of deer meat. I figured she would only kill one and I knew I'd be spending most of my time duck hunting because it's my young dog's first season, so I shot two does with my bow during bow season. We wound up giving a whole deer away to family and we kept 4.

I filled all my LA antlerless tags.

Shot two bucks and two does out of state.

I tagged out 30 minutes into Missouri rifle season.

Could have easily tagged out with 3 does and spikes.

Killed 1 8 point and a doe and my son killed 3 does. It ain’t all about the killing anymore.

This was my craziest season in a long time. I bagged 3 bucks and a doe. One was a wall hanger I was after. Another was a big 7 that got hit by a car and I finished off. The other was a baby shot by a poacher. The doe was the biggest bitch of all. She was huge. 125 at least. Shot a little back and didn’t wait long enough. Dog jumped her. Backed out for an hour. Found her 100 yds away in the thickest shite ever. End up quartering in the woods.

It was also the most fun I’ve had in a while. My catahoula pulled her weight this year. She found 8 deer. A few were fairly easy but most weren’t. She’s a pain in the arse but she figured it out this season and I’m a proud owner. I stomped through some crazy thick muddy bullshite but came out with a deer every time. Good year and we still have a few weeks.

Nice buck!

Ive got 2 tags left in Area 4. I can kill another antlerless and 1 buck or 2 bucks. I filled all 3 in my area last year and it worked out perfect for 1 yr of use so Im going to fill those tags these next few weeks whether a target buck, small doe or whatevers legal to make it happen

First year in a long time to not shoot a good deer. Shot a spike with my pistol, bloodied a 7pt with my bow, bloodied an elk with my rifle!!
Toughest season I have had maybe ever but still feel blessed to be healthy and still getting after them. Seems like every day I get reminded how fortunate and blessed I am and how trivial things like hunting can be even though it’s 100% of my focus!

Killed a good one the first of December and let a bunch of bucks walk. They won’t get bigger if I shoot them. Killed a bull elk, four hogs, and a bunch of DMAP does. We have a few more tags, so I’ll shoot a couple more does if I get the chance.
Thats a good buck. Congrats.

Tag soup for me! If any powers that be are lurking, please unload a cattle trailer full of Alberta whitetails into Maurepas swamp. Thanks!

Nice!

We get so many tags I don’t know what I’d do with everything if I tagged out.

I ended up with a nice pronghorn, two whitetail does and a spike. My oldest also shot a doe.

Bunch of does on DMAP properties for me. Been hunting a decent 8pt but he continues to give me the slip. Had him at 150 yards over the weekend but that doesn’t do me any good when I’m bow hunting.
