Who cares? Joe Burrow wanted Ed Orgeron to have a lifetime contract at LSU.

TBH it may be time to trade AK ( one my favorite players ever) but we have so many positions of need. I’d like to see him play with a contender if possible but who ever offers the most really

Never listen to the players when hiring a head coach, especially if it's promoting an interim. When they endorse a guy, hire someone else. There are usually ulterior motives for players endorsing a certain coach.
Saints players loved Allen when he was just a defensive coordinator, and they all wanted him to succeed Payton as head coach. Then they openly defied him and were glad when he was gone.

Our players have zero respect for the search process and just shout out who they desire as their new boss.
