Who will be the first politician that defends Cartels?

You know there has to be some that get paid by them to look the other way. When people mess with your money, you get vocal.
So who in congress, State houses, or cities/towns out themselves first?

Cant be defeated as long as the demand exists

It kind of was an interesting honey pot. We shall see who they catch.

I would think it would be a local police chief or mayor. But it would not shock me to see somebody from Ca in the house that starts sky screaming.

Politician? I’m not sure.
Poster?
SFP.
He wants to trade with them to enrich them even more, because they would never take advantage of us!

Or until they are not the supply. Commercialize all those drugs. Let Walmart sell the shite Cartels go bye bye. America booms, Mexico becomes an easier place to travel and do business in, and we use some of extra money to help people with addictions.

She's not that stupid and they aren't that stupid to give her money.
I'm thinking politicians are going to stay quiet on this issue and let liberal not for profits defend the cartels.

Rooting out and destroying the cartels is one od the extremely few things in today's world I would be ok putting American boots on the ground for. It would have the be on the condition of it being "total war" with the goal of 100% elimination of them with broad and loose rules of engagement.

Katie Hobbs, Governor of Arizona

Probably Hunter, although he is not a politician.

While I agree with you on the drugs part, the cartels would just shift more of their focus to trafficking and/or producing more fentanyl or the equivalents..
They are a big problem either way, and I'm glad we have identified them as such. TBD how messy it will get, but it needed to happen.

They'd take a HUGE hit if legal, confirmed untainted commercialized drugs were available. Wal-Mart could get dem prices low enough to where you wouldn't need to cut with fentanyl. The level of demand for cheap fentanyl would be DRASTICALLY reduced and hurt the cartels BAD.
No need to dismiss a better solution just because it isn't perfect. The current regime is way worse.
