Similar to Saints fans of a cursed franchise in a declining city. Obv we had the Payton/Brees years, but they’ve had nothing but shite results.
They have to win one eventually, right??

Hell no, you have to take advantage of your window and they aren't.

That isn’t on the fans, though.

In the NFL there’s just winners and losers. And the Lions are a loser. Sucks but that’s just how it is, I’m a Saints fan in the same boat.

I do. I wanted both of these teams to win. I am a little sad because Detroit had such an awesome year and it was honestly feeling like it was their year. I just hope Washington is good enough to take the Eagles down.

We’ve been through that shite and we are all still here. They’ll be fine.

Yes. Loyal people who invest time, money and emotion into a perennial loser are deserving of some measure of success. As a fan of a college football team that has never won anything, I am sympathetic.

There were some tough crowd shots. There’s some teams you laugh about them losing, but Detroit ain’t one of them. They haven’t won anything in a million years and that city has been through some shite.

I feel really bad for Lions fans. Thrilled for Jayden, but this was Detroit's best chance. Hard to put these runs together.

Kinda. They have the best team when everyone’s healthy.

Also, I don't understand the Lions' game plan. I think they could have never passed and won the game.

They went 15-2 this year. They’ll be okay

The long time fans who can name every Lions starting quarterback in the 80s and 90s I have sympathy for. The bandwagon fans who can't name the coach before Dan Campbell I do not.

Maybe. Salary cap attrition will kick in and the coaching staff brain drain. This was probably their shot.

I think this loss will be a franchise crusher.
