Would Ed Orgeron be a good hire?

He’s very familiar with the way things work in Louisiana, and he’s proven he can win football games with the right players and right coaches around him. He assembled the greatest college football team of all time in 2019 LSU. He also could be considered part of the Sean Payton tree since he was on Sean’s staff for a year.

He would love it here and never leave if we hired him. He definitely poured his heart and souls into the LSU job when he got it and tried to improve the facilities and everything associated with LSU football. He’ll do the same for the Saints.

Also, he would probably be cheap and this would make him a great sacrificial lamb if we’re going that route and blowing everything up over the next couple of years.

I don’t think he’s trying to do anything but be retired and slay poon, so no.
