This is sad but I have some questions. No neighbors to help? With his situation you would be planning ahead of time. She does not seem that upset

No way I’d leave my kid, that’s terrible

I would have died trying to save my kid

I would have died trying. There’s no way I leave them behind. Even if they die we all die. This is tragic in so many ways.

That's tough. He probably wanted to die though. Can't move and can't see would be tough.

Having to live with that the rest of my life would be 10x worst.

Terrible situation but that is extremely odd.

wtf he doesn’t have a wheelchair? how was he moving or doing anything before the fire?
there has to be some neighbor or someone to get to him in time as everyone was fleeing…this is a failure on mom for planning.
although I doubt anyone feels as bad as she does. horrific, hopefully the smoke got him first

she’s not telling the truth.

If she can’t move him and he can’t get out himself was this guy just lying there all day by himself? wtf nothing about this story makes any sense. She sure doesn’t seem upset about this at all

first thing I was thinking

I couldn't leave anyone behind. It doesn't matter if they are kin or not.

I’d check and see if he had a robust life insurance policy

The info is conflicting. Articles about him say he regained his sight and learned to walk.

Yeah I’m not leaving unless I have to save another child. I’d rather be dead than have to live with leaving a child behind and it’s not even a question.

Sounds like he just wants attention.

That’s a tough read. If anyone thinks they may have it bad, just think about this guy..
