Ohio State -9.5 vs Notre Dame

Seems a little high, but then again Notre Dame can't win the big game and Ohio State is obviously better.

Sounds about right to me.

Seems they’ve won a couple of big games over the past week or so

Have a feeling this one is gonna be ugly.

Low if anything. Ohio State will win this one easily. ND had a very easy path and OSU has the most talented roster in the nation.

Semi's okay. But Notre Dame can not win a Nati. I would be flabbergasted if they pulled it out vs Ohio St. Indiana isn't fertile recruiting grounds. I'd be surprised if they ever win one in my lifetime

Texas matched up well with osu. ND does not. Ohio State wins big

If only they had played recently, like 2022, when ND (almost) had them, if only for a bonehead play with 10 players on the field. That's what happens when Freeman was learning on the job, luckily he's improved since then.
+9.5 is free money.
Edit:2022 not 2021

It's funny to me, because this place was saying ND actually matches up well against Ohio St after ND won.
The trend seems like all the favorites have been covering in these playoffs.

I’m highly tempted to throw money on ND outright.

Rolf that game was last year bruv tf you talking about 2021
Still wrong the game was in 2023. 2022 game ND had the lead at half time and didn’t score in the second half.

Who was saying that? Riley Leonard can't pass. Ohio State will blow ND off the field. This feels like GA 2022, when they just squeaked by osu then destroyed TCU

ND by 7

Yeah this isn't a good match up for Notre Dame. Texas had the skill position guys to threaten the OSU defense and the speed on their own defense to match up with the OSU receivers.
The Notre Dame defense may be able to keep them in the game for a little while. Maybe. But I just don't see how their offense is going to be able to do much of anything. I'm thinking something like 27-10 OSU.

Luckily for you Notre Dame doesn't just recruit Indiana; we recruit nationally as we have since the days of Rockne. We have two starters from the state - both dog arse linebackers who OSU wanted, for that matter.
Our current starting 22 is from, respectively: California (x2), Florida, Texas (x2), Georgia, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio (x2), Alabama, Missouri (x3 - St. Louis has been good to us and is a damn fertile recruiting ground with Jeremiyah Love, Christian Gray, and Gabe Rubio on our roster), New Jersey (x3 - also been a great recruiting area for us), Indiana (x2), South Carolina, Nebraska, and Louisiana.

I don’t think ND has the passing game to keep up with Ohio State. They might find some success on the ground but I imagine buckeyes pull away late.
I’d take the -8.5 and prob the under. Something like 27-17

You do realize Notre Dame is a national name. They can pull from anywhere and they always have. They aren't Minnesota or Virginia which rely heavily on in state recruits.

I think Day lets out some demons and runs it up on the Irish.

It's not completely terrible if we were healthy.
OSU is going to be able to run the ball better than they did tonight. Probably won't be able sling it around like they have - Watts, Moore, Gray, and Clark are probably the best secondary in the playoff. If we were healthy along the D Line, I think we'd have a puncher's chance, but I don't trust this D Line at this point - just too banged up. We have a lot of third string guys getting 20+ snaps at this point.
I do think Leonard can present some problems to OSU that they haven't seen since...maybe Gabriel? Any other real dual threat QBs they've seen? He is big and fast and pretty mobile and just good enough to make you pay in the passing game. He's probably the wildcard - he certainly won't sit there and let Sawyer and JTT tee off on him all night like Ewers did tonight.
I don't particularly fear that secondary outside of Downs, but that D Line is absolutely fearsome. They are as good of a unit as I've seen in college football in a while.
