I wish we'd Hired Dan Campbell - Hats off to the man.

I admit I thought it was a mistake after his bite off their knees presser, but he is a great example of having a plan and sticking with a guy instead of firing people over one or 2 bad years. Hats off to DC. Seems like a good dude too.

I think it goes beyond Campbell. As weird as it is to say that entire Detroit franchise is an example of what a franchise should be. The Saints could take notes.

Think the GM has helped immensely. They’ve knocked a lot of picks out of the park.
Then you have the bookworm near genius OC and the fiery DC who is excellent and fiery.

So, no Super Bowls?

Dan is an alpha who inspires his players. They would run through a brick wall for the man. Sadly, saints don’t have anyone like that in the organization.

You'd rather be 14-20 over the past two seasons than 27-7?

No Super Bowls true, but just like the Packers and Bears they do have a bunch of NFL championships, mainly in 1950s (1935, 53, 55, and 57).

Another reminder how incapable Gayle and Loomis are with evaluations and keeping key personnel in the building.

Should they have fired Sean after 2020 to give the job to Dan.

Eh
Since 2019 , they have six top 12 picks and twenty four guys taken in the top 100. Repaired a bad cap situation to where they had top 10 money to spend
It’s not what the Saints did. Rather, it’s what they should do

He’s not shite without Ben Johnson lol

We’ll see, but Campbell is doing something right because Johnson values OC Detroit over several HC jobs including the Saints.

including the Saints.
That’s not saying much
Johnson will take a job this cycle

Soooo....are you saying the Saints should not have fired DA after 2.5 years?

Talking about biting someone's knees off is one of the most football things you could say. That should have been the first indicator he would do a good job. It's the guys that speak like lawyers you have to worry about.

No. We knew who DA was when they hired him. This wasn’t his first HC gig.
