Will this attack keep you from going to NOLA?

Curious as to the pulse of the OT on how they let this affect their plans.

Personally, I don’t want to let any terrorists change my life and make me live scared. With that said, this is alarming as we have let in so many unvetted people into our country and big gatherings are obvious targets.

I’d be lying if I said I’m not considering sitting out Nola Mardi Gras this year and going out of town instead.

The locals are enough to keep me out of Nola for anymore Mardi Gras. Any other possibilities just add even more reason for me. I wasn’t going this year anyways.

There are 1000 reasons not to go to NOLA, this barely ranks.

I don’t need a terror attack as an excuse to sit out Nola Mardi Gras.

No. I don’t go much, but this won’t affect that.

Sadly, this is true for many. Used to love a short visit.

Asking this question in the most negative NOLA echo chamber won’t get you the general barometer you’re looking for.

I stopped going to NOLA before the attack.

The crime and general dirtiness of the city is enough to keep me away.

Still plan on going to a concert at the Saenger in March unless the rest of my group backs out. Will keep my head on a swivel as I always do down there

Nope, I’ll go to NOLA when I please, can’t be scared and paranoid.

Went to Paris in 2016, a few months after the terror attack in Nov 2015.

You can’t let them win.

This could happen on any busy street that allows both vehicles and pedestrians in the world.

I’m don’t go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras anymore, but I go pretty often for Saints games and dinner. Don’t plan on changing my behavior.
