If true, I can get a little smile for this craphole season. Why

I hate the Falcons and if their fans are upset I can take a little joy out of that.

I don't care for the Buccaneers either but hate the Failcons more

It will be a miracle if the Saints beat the Bucs next week.

So if the Saints tank — not a difficult chore this year — we get a slightly better draft pick and get to screw over the Falcons?

Let me think about it.

Done.

Start Haener.

Being that we have combined to score 10 points the last two games I like our chances of helping to keep the failcons out of the playoffs!

I’m fine with losing as long as the team stays competitive. This season’s a wash, but picking in the teens wouldn’t be terrible. Historically, we’ve found gems in the 10-20 range.

The last few years have been hit or miss, but Fuaga looks like a solid pick. Let’s keep that momentum into the 2025 draft.

I’d love to trade back for more assets, but the odds are slim—though the Saints’ situation could force the front office’s hand.

I hate the dirty birds but my hatred towards the buccaneers has intensified tenfold ever since the Jared Cook fumble game and Tom Brady won them that Mickey Mouse Super Bowl. They are the most undeserving franchise to have two lombardis and I want to ruin their season. I’m tired of them sneaking into the playoffs.

Best part -- all the QB needy teams are infront of us.
1. New York Giants
2. Tennessee
3. Las Vegas
4. New York Jets

with a couple behind us
5. Indianapolis
6. Seattle

we should be in a good spot if someone is enamored

Why does it feel like these same teams are in the running for QBs at the top of the draft every year?

Because they are.

As it turns out, not every "tear it down and start over" rebuild works out, and landing a coach/QB combo that consistently make the playoffs for almost twenty years is pretty hard to do.

The Bucs will have won the South now for 5 years straight. They have more division titles than the Saints and 2 Lombardis.

They are much better run organization today with a continued bright future with very solid ownership.

Sell the team.

Living in Florida I agree. I dislike the Bucs more than the Falcons at this point. Bucs fans like to pretend that 2006 - 2019 just never happened and that getting lucky and winning the terrible the NFC South the last couple of years somehow negates that the Bucs have overall been a terrible franchise.

The Bucs have been such a lucky franchise. They've been around since 1976 and have only been even remotely good from 1999-2005 and from 2020-Now. Outside of those two periods they have been a terrible franchise. The fact they lucked into two Super Bowl Titles is honestly pathetic.

They got lucky last year even though we were better than the Bucs by the end of the year. Their fan base is such an arrogant white trash bandwagon fan base. Most will try to act like they've always supported the Bucs when the reality is probably half their current fan base never attended a Bucs game pre-Brady.

Never mind that if the Bucs win the division this year, they tie the Saints for division titles at 7. The Falcons only have 4 so they are well behind us. So screw the Bucs, I know we have next to no chance to beat them but somehow I hope we do on Sunday and ruin their season.

Wrong. The Bucs, if they win on Sunday, would have won the NFC South from 2021-2024, 4 straight, not 5 straight. That also means the Saints and Bucs would be tied at 7 division titles.

The Bucs are just lucky to be in a terrible division. The Bucs were nothing from 1976 - 1998 and 2006 - 2019. They've literally only had two stretches of success, from 1999 - 2005 (and even in that stretch 2001, 2003 and 2004 weren't anything great) and 2020 - now (and again last year and this year they aren't a great team).

It took them buying Brady to get their second Lombardi Trophy. They are downright lucky to have two considering that franchise has failed for most of its existence.

Even if they do win the division this year they'll do nothing in the Playoffs just like they have the last few years. Even in their current stretch of division titles from 2021 until now, if the Bucs are so great, how come they haven't even made the NFC Championship Game?

I don't debate that the Saints are a mess of an organization right now, they are. But the Bucs aren't a great organization. They definitely aren't anywhere near the level of the Chiefs, Eagles, Lions, Vikings, Bills or Ravens. They are just taking advantage of a bad division.

In 1979 (their 4th season) Tampa Bay went to the NFC Championship Game, losing to the Rams 9-0.

If it’s not the Saints, I’d much rather the Bucs or the Panthers win anything rather than the Falcons.

I hear what you say, but I am not yet there with the Bucs. Sure Brady got another ring, due in part to Jared Cooke. It is what it is.

Falcons hatred goes deeper, both teams came in at roughly same time. Their fans making comments about Katrina. Bucs and Saints rivalry is not that deeply entrenched.

I would argue a great deal of the fan base would list the Vikings as second most hated team behind Falcons.

Think about it.

The bounty accusations after beating Farve in championship, the Eric Rudolph push off playoff game, Dante Culpeper running in for a TD and let's not forget.....The Miraclewhip in Minnesota ???

Hell I would guess the Rams have moved ahead of Bucs and Vikings hatred due to " No Call "

I think your hatred are the Bucs stands from that you live close by, like me, I hate the Cowgirls because I live in Northwest Louisiana and have to watch them play all the freaking time and half the city has dumbass Cowboy fans.

Falcons are the hated rival, yes. But Baker is playing like an MVP and it’s unfortunate he’s going to be in the division for years to come. Bryce young also looks to be improving. Saints are dead arse last in the nfc south going forward.
