Commentators saying removing McCarthy was the stupidest thing in politics.

Everyone saying it is up to Trump.

Everyone saying no one has stepped up to replace Speaker Johnson.

Rand Paul says hey.

It’ll end up Johnson again. This is all posturing by a select few and the media. Johnson isn’t the best but he’s not near as bad as McCarthy was either and finding someone that gets enough votes to replace him will be hard and go through several people just like last time. He’s got a tough job with the narrow margins. You saw that even with Trump trying to assert his influence they still didn’t have the votes to do much more than eliminate the fat. But Trump didn’t get everything he wanted. The problem is there are too many RINOs and they won’t let a freedom caucus rep in charge. Best they can do it select Johnson and negotiate for the committee chair positions to go to freedom caucus reps.

Wasn’t Mike Lee the one who had that photo of him being surrounded by Indians in the capitol building?

Depends on the purpose. You're the one with a special case of the stupid if you assume all rat studies are worthwhile.
ETA - if you go read the Festivus report you'll see this study was a waste of funds. Basically - will rats that are lonely, starved, have no toys, have no stimulation, desire more cocaine after being subjected to cocaine, compared to rats that have food, toys, and other playmates. This was, indeed, a waste of money.

Looks pretty similar to me.

It's Faux News.

They also backed off of 2020 election fraud claims because Paul Ryan told them to. They actively participated in the 2020 steal. They put Chrissy Wallace up to tag-team with Biden against Trump in October of 2020 in that abortion of a "debate" they hosted. They canned Dan Bongino for telling the truth, while they kept liberal propagandist douchenozzles like Geraldo and Jessica Tarlov. They are 100% the network of Pierre Dilecto, Mitch McTurtle, Liz Cheney and Megan McNoname. They fired the #1 rated and most successful cable news host in world history on the day he was set to air an interview with an insider who had information that incinerated the J6 narrative. And speaking of J6, they "shadow banned" Trump after J6 for 3 full years until it became inevitable that (despite their vehement efforts to prevent it) Trump would be the 2024 nominee and likely the favorite to win the Presidency again.

Everyone, please, just look at everything above. Think about it. It's all 100% true and easily verifiable. Now, why are we still watching Faux News and ignoring OAN?

I don't see a bitbof difference either. Tgerefore I agree with CBS that removing McCarthy was dumb. No needcl to create animosity and division for no good reason - which is exactly what happened.

Conservatives are never going to use the legislative branch as effectively as liberals or moderates, but tge flamethrowers on the right are annoying as hell. Do somethibg productive.

Removing Johnson would be stupid and nothing but drama. The dynamics of the House are what they are with this slim of a majority. No one could change that at Speaker. Membership is the issue.

Small margins mean that the purple district moderates have outsized influence. Just how it is.
