1) play to win by playing the remaining starting players as much as possible. Nuss the whole game.

2) play to win but Limit the PT of known starters next year, and play as many players to get experience and see how they perform in a live game situation? Example is play Hurley in the 2nd half?

I’m torn, but I’m leaning to #2. Would be great to see players we haven’t seen.

1. Run the ball
2. Stop the run
3. Protect the ball
4. Force turnovers

You play to win the game. If we have a comfortable lead then you look at playing more people.

I’m glad you’re not coaching. You play to win this game and ever game with the best available players you have. If you get a comfortable lead, then you can worry about getting in the youngsters.

If you go through all the toruble of actually preparing for and playing the bowl game, then you play to win the game. there are already plenty of new guys playing because of opt outs.

Perhaps you should have just kept it this way.

The opposite of our 1985 bowl game vs. Baylor which I attended and froze my cods off.

The goal is to do whatever it takes to not have a 5 loss season.

This isn't a midweek baseball game vs UNO. It's our bowl game. Our bowl game that we played our way into. As pathetic as that sounds, it's true. You have to win.
