Favorite Louisiana restaurants within a 1 hour drive of NOLA

Outside of Orleans and Jefferson Parishes, what are your favorite restaurants within a 1-ish hour drive of that area?

Know some people in town and they want to take a drive or two. Doesn’t have to be “Louisiana food”, just good places.

I assumed Moscas was in Jefferson. I’m thinking more like down the bayou, Northshore etc

in Covington we like the greyhound, Valencia, Tavi and dakota
Middendorfs if you want to take 55.

This. The grounds are very pretty and out of staters would like that. Have a drink at their turtle bar before or after dinner. It’s a surprisingly good bar.

Don’t go to Middendorfs. It’s not the same place that it used to be.

Probably something in St Tammany.

I used to have two answers to this question -
Lafitte’s Landing and La Provence, both now closed.
