Tara is normally a light show, but I think the weather being fricky this year kept a damper on things here a bit.

Not in BR, but my vote is for the Old Dutchtown subdivision in Gonzales. IMO, it is worth the drive. There are 3 houses next to each other that has one of the best synced automated light shows I have ever seen.

Not in BR, but Oak Alley subdivision in Geismar has a ton of yards extravagantly decorated for Christmas

There’s a cottage on Hundred Oaks between Eugene and S Acadian that’s decorated with enough lights for a small city. You can’t help but look when driving by. I thinks it’s the prettiest Christmas house in the city.

I heard a rumor that the family had a daughter that passed who loved Christmas, and this is one of the ways they keep her memory alive.

It’s a son. They go all out decorating each Christmas so he can look down from heaven to see his family. That’s the story I was told. Very touching and it makes you spend time with your family.
