If a new stadium was built to replace the Super Dome, where would you want it?

1.) St. Tammany Parish?

2.) St. Bernard Parish?

3.) Same spot?

4.) Somewhere else in Orleans Parish?

5.) Mississippi Gulf Coast in Gulfport or Biloxi?

6.) Jefferson Parish

I’m going with St. Tammany Parish. Find a big piece of property and build it on its own far away from other buildings like the Patriots did with Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA. There’s ample parking all around the stadium and not as many inner-city hoodlums hanging around outside the stadium and breaking into people’s cars and other garbage. I think it would be a much more pleasant game day experience for most people.

The appeal of having Super Bowls and major events in New Orleans is the walkability of the City and the location of Superdome.

Agreed. There’s a few that seem to work, but I don’t think it would in New Orleans.

Keep the Superdome forever. Nothing wrong with it.

Anyone who doesn't say same spot is retarded.

It's probably the best stadium location relative to the city it serves in all of the United States.

Near the riverfront & downtown.

New Orleans needs tourist dollars. The stadium location is key to getting major sporting events.

Where else are you going to put it in Orleans? Da East?

No need for a new stadium at all. The Dome is better than even a lot of newer NFL stadiums.

How dare you try to cripple the local thugs thriving business ventures?

Had a convention in New Orleans recently and was shocked at how close the stadium was to “the spots” in NOLA.

You would be a fool to not put in the same spot (or relatively close by if possible).
