Pelosi breaks her hip after falling!

Word is she has broken her hip. At her age, this is almost like a death sentence as those 85 years or older who break their hip have a 33% chance they will die within the year.

I've heard much higher numbers. Like 50-60% die and the rest are never the same again. Falls resulting in a broken hip or femur above the age of 65 are basically a death sentence.

Happened to my grandmother about the same age.
Pneumonia ended up being the cause but it all started with being bed ridden from broken hip.
