Milam moving from 2B, eyeing SS

Milan started 60 games last year, including one at SS and was Frosh All American.

He was a top 100 draft prospect coming into LSU. Has been on the national scene since he was a freshman or sophomore in HS.

Yeah, I don’t think anyone expected the season he had last year. And if he’s kicking a vet like Bras off of SS, that’s something.

Ok I didn’t realize that. Everyone acted last year like he was not supposed to be doing as well as he was. Maybe just because he was young. Regardless, great to see him doing so well.

Interesting. There were a lot of people on here that were positive that swapping Braswell and Milam was an awful idea.

Based on everything I’ve read, Dickinson is much more comfortable at 2nd base than short. He appeared to struggle a bit in the fall at SS. I think Dickinson at 2nd, Milam at SS and Braswell at 3rd is what we see on opening day.

But Braswell seemed to make a lot of routine throws for outs look pretty close last year….. so him doing that at third makes me nervous. At least that’s my initial reaction

I think Braswell will stay at SS, Milam to 3rd.
