Wow, that was fast. I always thought he was the hot name for awhile in the NFL.

He was never really a hot name, at least from actual football people. His name just got tossed around a lot by media types.

Woke ESPN commentators always tossed around his name for HC jobs in the NFL, but everyone knew the Chiefs offense is all Andy Reid.

Statement from Eric Bieniemy’s agent, Jason Fletcher:
“Eric and UCLA mutually parted ways today as previously planned. He’s still getting paid by the Commanders. After interviewing for head coaching jobs last year, he wanted to stay active and busy. So, he decided to go help out Deshaun Foster, who is like his little brother, at UCLA as opposed to sitting out a year. The plan was always to return to the NFL in 2025, and he’s looking forward to the opportunities ahead.”

They loved to rabble rabble rabble every time he interviewed and didn't get hired, but there was a reason he interviewed for 10+ jobs and never got one despite "having" the best offense.
It wasn't him. He just isn't very good

Amazing how one can fall when they don't have Andy Reid and Maholmes.

to be fair, he’s is stepping into terrible jobs since he left KC.
Washington with Howell
UCLA Dumpster Fire.
He’s probably not as good as he looked with KC or as bad as he has looked the last 2’years.

The only place he's ever looked good is at KC. He's been total crap everywhere else, before and after. His stint as OC at Colorado prior to KC was the worst of all.

That family is all about football. His brother Vinnie played at Bama and their dad was a long time defensive coach.
Fun fact about their dad, Sal Sunseri played high school and college football with Dan Marino at Central Catholic and Pitt.

Swiss cheese Sal when he was at Tennessee.

But we were called racist for saying he was a shitty coach.
Looks like we're right again.
