People Basically Approving of the Murder of the United Healthcare CEO

Anyone else seeing people kinda give the
about yesterday's assassination?
Typically, I would consider their reaction as no big deal until I realize that it's the exact same type of people that built statues and murals to George Floyd.
We're a morally bankrupt society on both ends.

We're well on our way to socialism. "Othering" the successful is the first step.

I see people honoring his legacy.

If you make "the elites" the enemy then they're fair game.
Populism doesn't really have a rudder, that's why it's so unpredictable.

Their rhetoric has the propensity to create a dangerous situation.
Maybe doctors start getting targeted. Maybe you overcharged me for car repairs so the mechanic gets his "due". How about dog owners or hairstylists?
We've lost our morals bigly.

Well, to be quite honest, insurance is nothing but theft.

This is categorically untrue. I see a bunch of people making flippant comments, nothing more.

You think these elites care when a peasant is gunned down? Or loses a family member due to coverage being denied?
Why should we wring our hands over this?

But they're comfortable making them on public forums, just like they were when someone tried to kill Trump.
That's an indicator.

This time it’s coming from both ends. The left because they hate all ceos and some on the right because the insurance companies are particularly nasty.
To me it’s a ho hum moment. It’s a guy I don’t know and the Dems and others have created a two tier justice system so things like this will happen from time to time.

Marxism is a religion. These are the modern day terrorist martyrs.

Oh stop. The people clutching their pearls over this shooting are the goody two shoes like David French and Glenn Beck. HHTM is the most upset of all. That should tell you something.

It’s a message board and sound like this guy fricked him over so smack is spiking the football. So I’d over look that as more of a personal vendetta.
I think this murder just shows the thin line our society lives in and how when our justice system is corrupt and undermined as it has been mostly by the left these things will happen. At the end of the day we are all pretty close to be savages, we just don’t see it a lot in the US but a lot of the world is very savage. As economic conditions worsen and the gov continues to be corrupt stuff spills over.

Hopefully this isn't the start of México/Iraq war style assassination's.

I want to point out that I wasn't quite "cheering it on" until I read what was written on the casings.

I don’t feel bad about it one bit. Running an insurance company requires a complete lack of empathy because they profit by denying claims. This guy wasn’t just that, his company was the most evil of all

You wear yoga pants and shoplift food.
There's a lot of room between clutching pearls and saying "good, he deserved it", but that would require a little nuanced thought and you aren't heckin capable of that.
