The people who come up with the algorithms are fine until it purposely gets skewed. Math doesn't lie until you make it and it's a tool just like a gun. It can be used for good or bad.

Polls are no longer objective, but serve only to drive a selected narrative.

Doing a legit poll is already difficult enough. It's very difficult to a get a random, representative sample.
And if you have an agenda you can rig a poll to give whatever result you want.

I agree as I've tried to say in the conversations about this that went on the polling cannot be trusted
it's actually stupid to talk about because it's a misdirection
Over the years I was involved in conducting several polls across the state of Texas which is not a small undertaking
I manipulated every single one of em

The independent polls were spot on. Rasmussen and Atlas especially. It's the legacy media polls that lie to create narratives that make everyone look bad. If it's ABC, CNN, NYT, etc take them all with a tablespoon of salt.

When the left started ostracizing and canceling those on the right who were outspoken, many on the right stopped honest participation in public discourse. Including polling.

Yes people who vote Republican because of the personality characteristics tend not to trust organizations calling them on the phone asking their opinion
that's one of the reasons polls are so skewed toward the left and their efforts to adjust are constantly wrong

I would never tell the truth to anyone who wants to make money from my opinion without reimbursement.

The real world doesn't sync up with how the elites and establishment nerds WANT it to be.
They keep trying to wish their fantasy into existence.
It can work for a limited, short time. But eventually, reality comes back.

Because people aren’t actually voting it’s an illusion. The winners are selected long beforehand

Trivia factoid: Scott Rasmussen is the son of one of the founders of ESPN, and was present at the beginning.
Like his father, he was pushed out by Getty Oil, who bankrolled the network in its early days.

Polls are there to influence elections not predict them.

that is a good one
An interesting in hindsight how they tried to present as bros
but then you had Keith Olbermann or Chris Berman
and they fired Ron Franklin,,, that fricking sucked

It’s as if this is consistently on purpose. It never changes. If it happens a vast majority of the time is it just an accident?

. Today we have the endless campaign so you guys who poll are also marketing to the voting public. You are not measuring sentiment. You are active in creating it.

It would take a huge sample size to get a representative sample.
But the process could be simplified by excluding non-contested states.
The focus should not be on polling but on the issues that are in the best interests of the United States.
Put together a panel of intelligent independent voters and have them collectively agree on which Democrat or Republican candidate has a stated policy that it is in the best interest of the U.S. on each of the key issues.
If this had been done for the last election, Trump would have been the obvious choice.
1. Economy - Trump was clearly the most experienced candidate with the best proven economic policies.
2. Immigration - Trump's border policy enforces existing immigration law and addresses national concern over the negative impacts of illegal immigration.
3. Inflation - Inflation was much lower during the Trump administration and his goal of draining the swamp by cutting back our bloated government is an obvious step in the right direction.
4. Crime - Crime is completely out of control due to Democrat lax enforcement policies. Even hard core Democrats see the devastating impact on society. A Trump DoJ will actually go after the root causes of criminal activity.
5. Foreign Policy - The world was much more stable during the Trump administration. The current state of affairs is a powder keg waiting to happen and Trump has the negotiating prowess to get it under control.
Harris is a dumbass and was obvious part of the problem during the Biden high inflation, high crime disastrous foreign policy administration.
