“Reminder that the mainstream narrative on #Thanksgiving is completely false.

“The Pilgrims were first attacked by the Indians; not the other way around. The Pilgrims always sought to maintain peace.”

They adopted an Indian baby and years later its family would include Elizabeth Warren.

Who gives a shite Manifest destiny
The winners tell the story.
Also the fact that they (indians) never built a city in the US proper is only a sign they were doomed to fail

Technologically speaking they were about 500 years behind the Pilgrims, also the fact that they had no written language makes it easy for them to hide all of the atrocities that they had committed.

Really?
The English were writing, in Old English, 500 years before the Pilgrims landed in the New World.
They had cities, and currency, and they could make tools out of iron.

Yeah, they were stealing land from each other then someone comes along and steals the land from the ones who stole the land from others and they get all bend out of shape... Maybe if they all worked together they would have come up with a plan to keep their land.

This is what happens when you conquer someone and then decide to give them welfare. It doesn't work

The Pilgrims were Commie bastards.

To each according his need from each according his ability. The same rhetoric Vladimir Lenin used 100’s of years later.

The colony was about to go the way of Roanoke. The common storehouse, drained dry as people said, who cares, we will just coast and take what we want.

Leadership had to get with economic reality and declare every man for themselves. I.e. capitalism. They threw in the collectivist towel after so many had perished in their utopian dream.

That next fall was the first Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is a celebration of capitalism and the benefits of the individual pursuit of happiness.

You're a fricking idiot. You probably sympathize with the British for losing as well.
