Necessity is the mother of invention. Novel idea.

Honey Baked Ham does a lot of turkey.

I do love me some renaissance fair turkey legs. I’d stop at a fast food window and grab a leg 100%!

Turkey legs and big ole titties, it's a time-honored Ren Fest tradition.

Does pretty well too.
Maybe the key to that is the owner also has a Turkey Farm.

Arby's has the Gobbler if that counts

There is a turkey place in Alabama right off of Interstate 65 south of Montgomery. At least there used to be. I have not been down that way in a long time.

Because turkey is the garbage of meats

Hit a lot of fairs around the state and you'll likely find smoked turkey legs and wings available, along with smoked corn on the cob. They do sell well from what I've seen.

I will always stand on the hill that if Thanksgiving food was even a notch above mediocre, there would be a resturant that serves it.

People don’t like turkey enough to eat it on any kind of regular basis.

Because chicken and beef are tastier than turkey

I worked with a guy in the mid-1990’s at a white collar job. He took some of his savings, quit the job, and bought a franchise for some turkey-based restaurant at a food court. He had been planning it for a while and was convinced he would be successful.
Failed miserably. He got a job at a different company in the same industry. I admire that he took a shot, though.
