Stamps performance down the stretch has been up and down but overall he’s had a solid year 2 especially for a star. Has only given up 420 yards , 3 tds and has forced 8 incompletions along with 9 PBU’s

The safeties are the problem. Gilbert, Ryan, and Burns are the 3 worst safeties to start for LSU in over a decade and they all happen to start at the same time.

He does not like to tackle; hopefully as he matures, he will.

Stats would look a lot different if Tre Harris didn’t drop that bomb 1st play of the ole miss game

And Baton Rouge would still be burning from LSU losing 5 games this season.

Stamps has been ok, just had a rough game against UF that got some people upset but overall has been alright. He's an above average player, plainly put. I think if we had a little more talent in CB room he'd be a backup to be frank, but he's been ok overall.

30 for 50 for 420 yards isnt anything to brag about. He's just limited athletically in the end.

Do we get to count the Hilton drop in the EZ that would have been the game winner last year?

Gilbert looks like he has no idea where he should ever be.

i’ve said this about Stamps, I dont think he’s bad, but I dont think he’s the type of player who would normally be playing a a True Sophemore, nor playing a number of games as our Cb1.

I think he will be a 4 year player and be pretty good by the end.

Yeah, the safeties are bad. Alexander is a very good CB and Stamps would look better if the safeties actually helped. I have noticed on some long passes that the Stamps is either right with the WR or a step behind. The problem is the safety trailed BOTH of them. Doesn't exactly qualify for safety help if that player is not in front or to the side of the WRer as they are supposed to be.

If LSU hangs on to Pickett and Phillips, there’s a good chance he will be a backup.

I don’t think Raymond is doing a bad job, some of the players have a skill level that is only going to allow them to be so good. What I think Raymond does do, he sees elite talent probably better than some and if LSU can win the NIL battle for those guys, you will see the secondary play and he much better.

They’re likely to be in the 4-3 as they were against Vandy, so I expect his snaps will be limited.

Hopefully we get all 3 of the elite CB’s currently committed in here so we never have to watch players of stamps caliber play again. He tries hard, but he will never be at a DBU level.
