I keep a can of folgers in the back of the pantry in case I ever run out of community. It's definitely better than no coffee.

I use to live in a group house within Washington DC. We got a new roommate from Seattle who was a massive coffee snob. She brought her own coffee and coffee maker from Seattle because nothing in DC grocery stores was good enough.
Found out she was secretly finishing the rest of my community coffee in the pot and making her own using my community.
Community Coffee is even better than people here realize.

Community is very average once you get out into the real work and try good coffee.

Flogers is crap...
I grew up on CC and thought it trumped all until I moved out of Louisiana.
It's a good middle of the road coffee however.

To each their own, but Community Coffee tastes watered down and I can't believe it actually has fans and brand loyalty. But again, to each their own.

Well, the general consensus of this thread isn't that it's the best coffee, it's just answering the question of which of these two is better.
CC has some newer flavors and the expresso flavor is good and smooth. It happens to be what I drink the most. Again, however, that doesn't mean I think its the best coffee in the world.
