That's 20 republican votes.
Matt Gaetz is "unlikely to be confirmed".
Think about the actions by the Justice Department over the last four years.
The raid at Mara Largo.
The connections to all the other Trump prosecutions
The cover up of Biden Crimes
We have won nothing. Here we go. The unipary is standing together and blocking any real change or reform.
Turtle is the leader
And now. Before Trump even arrives in Washington, Turtle has passed the baton to his twin Thune.
There is one thing wrong with Gaetz. He knows where the corruption in Washington is. He knows where the bodies are buried.
So "we" --- control nothing. Not the House. NOT the Senate.
This party has to be purged of these fools

Turtle is the leader
quote:
the Republican senator from Kentucky privately called Trump “stupid,” “ill-tempered,” a “despicable human being” and a “narcissist,” and said of the 2020 election that the American people had had enough of Trump’s “misrepresentations” and his “daily stream of lies and “fired him.”
quote:
McConnell even expressed support for special prosecutor Jack Smith’s efforts to hold Trump responsible for his actions on Jan. 6. If the former president “hasn’t committed indictable offenses,” McConnell told Tackett in an interview, “I don’t know what one is.” In addition, McConnell made clear that he believes Trump “inspired” the violence that took place on Jan. 6 and said, “I just hope that he’ll have to pay a price for it.”

The goo hates you - they hate Trump - they are owned by special interest and have zero desire to lead or do great things. They care more about their cocktail parties in the most liberal area in the country. Vance and Trump need to start their own party.

Title says it all.
Push them through.
Push them through.

This clic has been growing for decades and is only getting more and more powerful - don't know what it will take to break it up.
Thought this election might do it - but I don't see much of a move in that direction. However, the players are really being ID'd to anyone with a brain.
Vote em out

If we’re being honest and keep it properly simple, what it probably is is grudges over Gaetz necessarily turning the GOP against itself with the McCarthy situation. And I’m not even one iota stating an opinion about the situation one way or another - only pointing out that Gaetz probably did strongly split Congressional Republican opinion over himself.

There’s a bunch of R senators that also said that the POTUS should be able to pick his cabinet and vote for Biden’s picks on that principle. Funny how most of the RINOs and all the Ds don’t hold the same principle for Trump.

How do you continuously ignore the overt corruption and play it off as mere tribal politics?
Astounding.

As citizens of this country we need to start holding these morons accountable. If your senator doesn’t back Trump’s pick, then let him hear about it. Show up to his office. Make their lives hell. They do it because they don’t respect us. We can’t waste these next 4 years.

Uniparty votes. Dems never cross lines but Rinos do all the time.

If the GOP doesn’t come together and vote for Gatez, the backlash will be unlike anything they’ve seen before. The establishment GOP does not understand that the Republican party is solidly behind President Trump.

I don't recall many that have not passed the confirmation test.....
Anybody?
Anybody?

That’s because most Republicans are fine with business as usual. They can make lots of money this way.

So much for Thunes leadership. That didn't take long.

Trump has a plan. Lets see all this shake out.
