Ever? Maybe. This term? No.

Someone needs to get every one of them on camera explaining why they won’t support it though.

That's fine and good but it didn't answer the question. Personally, no.

My Dad always told me that was the one major mistake our forefathers made was term limits. They never thought term limits would be needed. Most had to get back to business or farm. It was never supposed to be a full time job.

No sir. They're not going to vote against their own jobs.

The only term limits would be enforced by the voters. Start a movement. It could be just as effective as law

4 terms for reps and 2 terms for Senate.

We have term limits. You can vote them out anytime you want.

Everyone wants Nancy Pelosi out. No one wants to vote out their own representative who's been in 8 years.

UNLESS you have pictures on the corrupt ones, then they may vote in favor when told to do so.

This is a bipartisan issue. Many democrats support this including AOC.

how long does she think she should serve in the house? 8,10,12 years? $1000 says she will not stop running once she hits that mark, whatever it is

Also, the last time term limits was brought up a couple years ago (2023), it didn’t make it out of committee on a party line vote with Democrats in control

No.

In order for that to happen you would need an amendment to the Constitution. In order for the Constitution to be amended you need two-thirds of Congress to stamp their approval, among other things. Do you honestly think Congress is going to do such a thing?

I’ve heard that it will be enacted once the current Congress member leaves. It will take awhile, but it’ll happen. I mean it’s the only way current Congress men and women will vote for it.

This is the problem. Congress is broadly despised, but everyone thinks their Congressional representatives are great. It's all the others that are the problem.

Yeah, not even the MAGAs are going to do that to themselves now that they are on the precipice of full power in Washington.

Remember, if you like your Representative, it's always some other politician that is the problem....and he/she should be term limited

Not in favor

Think about how corrupt they are now and consider a term limited congressman’s interest. They’ll vote however the lobbyist want them to without fear of repercussion from the voters.
