The LHSAA is fricking stupid. This is essentially a paper compliance issue.

I want to hate Uhigh for doing this but when you look at it this is an LHSAA bullshite shitstorm.

It’s too complicated to type out. Just google seach LHSAA sucks fat disease infested cocks and read what pops up.

Not accurate at all. They played two ineligible players in 8 games this year. They were, by rule, ineligible. The paperwork debacle is a separate issue.

And Liberty knew it and sat on the info til the last possible moment, which is horseshite.

A whole lot of "wrong" in this whole deal, but I don't blame the LHSAA . You can argue the rule is dumb, but as the rules stand the LHSAA did everything right. They received the complaint, investigated, made a ruling, expedited the appeal, and upheld the appeal in a very quick manner.

Their policy of not publicly identifying the guilty school and delaying ALL of the bracket releases is pretty dumb.

Imagine being so narcissistic that you screw over every other school in the state and think you’re in the right.

I thought that at first about delaying ALL the brackets, but there is a trickle down effect for power rankings based on U-High’s ultimate W/L record.

Wouldn’t the easy fix be U High is ineligible for the playoffs and release the brackets.

Blame the victim here I see. They got caught, they have to now explain to all these kids why they didn’t comply with the rules.

Seems like U High tried to emulate the CFB transfer portal and immediate eligibility, but that is not the case in HS.

I agree with this. And take it a step further - if this was Baker or St Helena or Minden they lay down and take it. #1 because they don’t have money and #2 they don’t have the political clout to possibly get something done.

This will also bleed into basketball. How many basketball rosters are made up of at least 50% players that also play football.

I hope coaches take note and do not schedule u high for shite out of district.

This stuff used to be reserved to just a small number of schools statewide that recruited illegally and everyone knew it. Today, high school football seems as dirty as college football ever was.

We had a school here in Georgia get stripped of all it's wins this week due to using an ineligible player. Went from 9-1 to 0-9. They were the defending state runners-up in AAAA.
