Was out there recently for work and came away realizing Denver isn't really famous for any sort of specific cuisine. They cook adopted food from other regions pretty well but there's nothing that's incredibly unique.

I had decent luck with Mexican/TexMex while out there.

We do beer well, food not so much. There are no must eat or even remarkable places to eat here.

Go over to RINO and hit a couple breweries then eat anywhere that looks good. It'll be fine.

Denver does breakfast well. Plenty of good things around the outskirts too.

Denver Biscuit Company
El Taco De Mexico
Moonlight Diner

D'Corazon Mexican Restaurant for good Rita's and food.
Hops & Pie for pizza and beer

The Fort in Morrison, CO is one of the coolest places/menu/wine spots I've been to. Huge wild game and wine menus. Get a table on the patio for the scenery.

ate there for breakfast 3 days in a row. Good food, huge portions. We split meals.

Had a meal at Barcelona ( decent tapas & cocktails) where the server recommended a few places.

Koko Ni - 10 course omakse, need reservation. Great experience and food.
Corsica - didn't eat here, tapas & cocktails
Kini's - decent Greek/ Mediterranean and polite staff.
Logan Street - went for late night happy hour. Good atmosphere and food.

3 places I want to go to on a return visit to the city.
Mercantile Dining & Provisions
Death & Co.

The flat iron steak with red chimichurri sauce at The Range inside the Renaissance Hotel might be my favorite restaurant steak. The candied habanero bacon is good too.

I haven’t been in years but there used to be a place downtown (for got name) that featured wild game. The elk was fabulous along with others things, and had a huge bourbon selection as well.

It is but it is also just Shaya with Denver prices. Same owner and basically same menu but add a few dollars to the price of everything because Denver.

if you’ve eaten at shaya or saba or tavi safta is basically the same thing. But it is very good obviously.

Denver is a great beer city when we go we just eat at the tap rooms
