Just some questions for the married/previously married folks around snapchat. I'm curious what you use it for given the main feature is to not save chats.

1) Do you have snapchat? Does your partner?
2) What do y'all use it for?
3) Do your kids have it and are you friended with them?
4) Is there a sane reason for a married person or otherwise to have multiple accounts?
5) If you found out your partner had multiple accounts and didn't tell you, would you be mad?

I don't think anyone grown adult needs a Snapchat, but that's just my opinion.

I do have Snapchat, husband does not. Kids are on it and I’m friends with them. I’ve only used it for filters in the past.

I agree. "But everyone has it". Half of them are divorced or have marital problems I bet.

Thats a feature but it's not the sole purpose. I don't have it and either does the wife but I know that much. It's really become the most popular communication app for high school kids now at least around here.

Disagree. I don't mind my kids having it but I also make sure they have a strong sense of morality and understand what's right and wrong. I was a teenager once. It get it.

We both have snapchat. We've both had it for 10+ years. Just got used to communicating that way. My buddies and I have a group chat on there that has been going for 5 or so years. Mainly use it for sending vids to people who don't have Android.

It originated as an app that married chicks could send tits and look at dicks to random dudes.

And it hasn't really changed all that much.

About what part? That the SOLE purpose is for the disappearing messages or the fact that it's the most popular messaging app for high school kids?

That part. That's literally the "killer feature". If it weren't for that it'd just be another chat app with cool filters etc.

From my understanding of a couple local recent marriage issues among peer groups, snapchat was the vehicle.

Apparently its the new way to set up affairs.
