I live in Alabama and I am legitimately surprised that the only pro-Trump commercials I ever see on TV are the transgender commercials.

Are the more compelling commercials not being shown on purpose or what? Meanwhile, I see the Pro-Kamala , "I am not rich" commercial, and the commercial with his former administrators saying Trump isn't fit to be President way more frequently. What advertisements are y'all seeing?

I see the "I'm not rich", and "Trump's project 25".

Saw a Trump one earlier that had no voice over.

I'm in Texas so Trump is a lock and I don't see much in the way of adverts for the presidential run.

Mostly I see Cruz vs. Allred.

There are studies that out of all of the trump ads, the one with Charlamagne tha God about sex change operations and men playing in women sports is the one ad making black people say “aww, hell naw”

In other words, Trump is targeting black voters in Alabama

The Kamala I’m rich ad is probably the worst ad out of all political ads. Everybody already knows that trump brags about being rich - not an effective ad at all

I don’t know why he would be running ads in Alabama - I guess it’s a national ad which might be cheaper than a local targeted ad that would have been bought by your local abc affiliate

A lot of times, it’s actually more expensive to run Local ads then just doing a nationwide ad (depending on market size)

For example:
Fox5 in Atlanta runs Trump ads that are targeted for Georgia. Those ads get bought through Fox5 Atlanta and they are very expensive where if Trump wanted to run a national ad, then it might actually be cheaper purchasing through the actual FOX Network That would run on all FOX affiliates. This is probably what you are seeing in this GA - TX game - a nationwide ad purchased through ABC

You'll have to elect her to know what her plans are.

Trivia Q: What is the most expensive state (per voter) to advertise on TV in?

A: New Jersey

To buy TV time you have to buy in the NYC or Philly markets, paying for all those non-NJ voters

The “Kamala is for they/them, Trump is for you”, one ?

That’s a great fricking ad and a top 5 all time political slogan.

Sort of, it depends on the market (both pricewise and how many stations you are wanting to run your extra ads on). Stations/networks, by FCC regulation, can charge only the "lowest unit charges" for political ads of legally qualified candidates. In other words, they can only charge their cheapest rates for a given package or time slot. LINK

Nationwide network 30-second ads on ABC daytime can go from $50k-$200k (depending on time slot) while a 30-second commercial playing on WBRZ can go for anywhere from hundreds of dollars to a few thousand dollars.

That said, if you're wanting to focus more ads on a specific state, you're going to want to layer in ads purchased to run on local medium and large markets in that state (whether those are for individual stations or regional buys).
