Just saw this under promotions for this game. Maybe we finally get the LED light show we’ve all been waiting for

Note: Fans are reminded to wear the wristband that is placed in your seat and are asked not to trade wristbands with fans sitting in other locations of the stadium as it will lessen the impact of the lightshow. The wristband lightshow is choreographed based on sections in the stadium.

Make sure you stay in your seats for halftime to watch the band and the lights for the 100th year show.

Sometimes I wonder what people in the 1960s would have thought of what football games have become. Not that they are bad or worse. Just different.

The Friday night before the South Alabama game, the stadium was bathed in purple light like in the picture (or at least close to it).

They can do it. Why they drown out the purple with white/yellow lights and bright video/ribbon boards at the night games so far, I don't know.

Probably would be more concerned with the makeup of the team.

I don't like that we feel the need to copy other schools.

Just decide what we want the Tiger Stadium experience to be, and stick with it.

Chasing a light show, just because others are doing it, isn't what I would do.

It will be an amazing sight at halftime watching all the wristbands swinging down Nicholson Dr.

I think about this especially when I see NBCs cheesy Sunday night pregame hype production.

When it's dark out you can definitely see the purple. Now is it as distinct as that picture, no. You can definitely see the purple though.

At first they would be speechless looking at the 130ft HD jumbotron. Then they would see the black LSU flagboy among the flag girls and all hell would break loose.

We haven’t opened up the LED playbook yet, have kept it very vanilla purposely

There are those who go to be entertained. Then there are those who stand at the fence in a HS stadium because you need to smell the field and hear the pop.

I'm fine with the light show. I've always been a light show guy. I have an LED strip in my music room. I don't need it for a game, though.

So OLOL is spending over a million dollars on this, and everyone wonders why they paid $25k to deliver a kid.

“Why are these spectators wearing jerseys? Did they forget their pressed shirt and tie at home?”
