So OLOL is spending over a million dollars on this, and everyone wonders why they paid $25k to deliver a kid.
That’s your take on this?

Sometimes I wonder what people in the 1960s would have thought of what football games have become.
Why can’t you pile drive a QB into the ground??? What is this targeting thingy??

Yeah, it’s the only dig I can get in at the LED loving, promoting seizures crowd at this point. It’s like chili with no beans vs the bullshite people call chili.

I cannot go but it would be nice if the stadium rocked until the END!

One of the highlights of Saturday night will be a choreographed LED lightshow throughout the game. The LED wristbands will be synced with the new lights in Tiger Stadium providing an in-game experience never before seen in Tiger Stadium.
The LED wristbands – courtesy of Our Lady of the Lake Health – will be placed on every seat in the lower bowl of the stadium as well as all club and suite seating areas. Those fans sitting the upper decks – east, west and south end zone – will be provided wristbands on a first-come, first-serve basis on the concourse of their respective seating areas.
The LED wristbands are programmed to be activated at various points during the game, including Callin’ Baton Rouge during pregame, as well as the Golden Band from Tigerland intro video, LSU’s intro video before taking the field and Saturday Night in Death Valley.
The wristbands will also light up during the LSU band’s halftime performance and then again when Callin’ Baton Rouge is played prior to the start of the fourth quarter. The wristbands will also be triggered for a number of songs throughout the game.

It will be an amazing sight at halftime watching all the wristbands swinging down Nicholson Dr.
Damn. I tried not to laugh, but yeah.

“Why are these spectators wearing jerseys? Did they forget their pressed shirt and tie at home?”
When i watch old videos of various sports on YouTube, that is always the one thing that I can't wrap my head around, and that is people dressing up for ball games like they were going to church in Atlanta. And it is every sport.
As far as I can tell, this lasted at least til the early 60's. Maybe some older folk can shed some light on why this was a thing, and how it finally ceased to be a thing

If you are going into the game, please make sure to use the wristband that is in your designated seat. Do not start collecting them for friends or trading them with others around you. They are programmed specifically for each seat. It explains it in the article but I just want to emphasize this.

Don't be alarmed at the sting you feel when you put it on. Its your free covid jab.

Hopefully its a tracker to see who leaves early to publicly shame them.

I sincerely hope that these 'LED wristbands' were not purchased from Hezbollah in Lebanon.

They do this at concerts. It’s pretty cool

So more piped-in music

The Friday night before the South Alabama game, the stadium was bathed in purple light like in the picture (or at least close to it). They can do it. Why they drown out the purple with white/yellow lights and bright video/ribbon boards at the night games so far, I don't know.
LSU stated near the beginning of the season the Ole Miss game would be the game they really show what the new lights can do.
