Resting adult heart rate

I just got notified by my Apple iWatch that my resting heart decreased last month from 71 bpm to 68 bpm.
Not sure why. Can some of this be attributed to perhaps feeling less stressed?

Have you had more butt sex? That can do it as well.

Have you cut back or quit drinking? My resting heart rate is around 70 when I'm drinking. Goes down to around 50-55 after a few days when I stop.

I believe his avatar suggests that "release" might not be an issue for our OP...

Definitely stress. Mine goes up when I’m in busy periods with work.
Cardiovascular conditioning also plays a huge part, when I fall off the workout wagon my resting rate reflects that.

As a heterosexual male, if that is anything like going to get a rectal examination by a man in a white coat, I think my blood pressure would spike.
By the way, is it normal for my doctor to require a minimum of three fingers for this type of exam?

I have never been a big drinker. Maybe 1 time per month, and it's 1 or 2 drinks, at most.
However, I have not had any alcohol in at least 3 months. Not against it, just not part of my daily routine.

Compromising pictures of one of the admins (will not be named) allows for special privileges.

There's no difference between 71 or 68.
Let us know when it drops below 45 or above 125 while resting so we can send your family flowers.

So he’s got to feel the sides of your anus. My doctor only uses a pinky but yours might be a little larger.

I wouldn’t even consider 71 to 68 really changing. That’s so small it could simply be your device
On a day I spend tailgating and drinking all day RHR will go from 50 to 65

Only if they like you.

Yes, less stress will help BP and HR.
I’m 72 and resting PR was 64 today.
